CUSTOMER
CLAIMS:
"FALSE
ADVERTISING"
Look who has Arrived!
That's the good news. The bad news is that I'm afraid you're going to
have to rename your company, because when I opened the box
(continued-------------> |
and looked
at these puppets,I didn't just
"give a little giggle". I gave an enormous hoot of laughter, followed
by about five minutes of profound belly laughs, and I'm still filled
with joyous delight an hour later with no end in sight. A little
giggle? This is blatantly false advertising, although I admit that, as
a slogan, Give An Enormous Hoot may not have quite the same ring to it.
I absolutely adore these puppets and they're both going to be perfect
for what I have in mind. I will send you a copy of the story I'm
writing that uses one of them as a character. Meanwhile, thanks so much
for making two total beauties. |
Here's a great Christmas card that we received.
Thank you Piper.------> |

CLOWNING
AROUND IN KELOWNA
"Thought
that you might like to see that giggle on her first day out with
Marvolet. I took her to a care home today and they LOVED her. They
asked why her name is giggles so I tickled them with the eyebrows and
when they laughed I told them it was because she could make them
giggle. Thanks again, I love her I don't mind if you want to mention
that I am a theraputic clown and a member of the Caring Clowns of the

She's
in love w/"Fluffy," and always insists that he gets on the table w/her.
Before I knew it, she was ready for their exam. Wish pediatricians
would see how easily these might work for children who might be
frightened or intimidated: the kids could do the procedures first on
the 'giggles.' We have had such great fun w/Fluffy. Occasionally I have
to tell her that Fluffy is visiting at his Mom's, or on holiday, so
that I actually get to spend some "alone" time with her. She won't talk
to me on the phone, but will talk to Fluffy, and is now asking
questions about where Fluffy comes from, and is his Mom a puppet. I
think I'll tell her, "yes, and her name is Catherine."

THE
AFTER SCHOOL CREW
This
is just our small
way of showing you how happy we are to have Bluebell in our
lives. She never fails to entertain and surprise us with all
of
her lovely (if somewhat LOUD) qualities and she always has kind (if not
LOUD) words for us all the time. We love introducing her to
new
things (like snow today!) and telling her all about our day (Bluebell
BADLY wants to go to school so this is the next best thing for
her). Did we mention that she's a bit LOUD? Lisa
says it's
because Bluebell is very e-n-t-h-u-s-i-a-s-t-i-c. Anyways, we
love her, so thank you for letting her come to live here with us here

TEACHER
PAM REPORTING FROM BODRUM TURKEY:
"I wanted to send you off a quick note to say that I am using one of
your puppets to teach in Turkey! My sister, who lives in Nanaimo, sent
me beautiful purple 'Sally'. My own three children love her, as do the
40 plus Turkish kids that I teach English . Thought you would find it
fun to learn how global your puppets have become. Many thanks,"
Update
from Pam:
"Hello
from Bodrum Turkey! Yes, 'Koko' ( name changed by my kids!) performed
just this morning for over 40 Turkish kids! A HUGE hit!
Continued---------------------> |
It
not only
gets the children to smile and laugh, it encourages them to speak
English. I
proudly admit that I enjoy Koko as much as they do! I'll be returning
home to Nanaimo this summer, and will look you up to bring a few more
home with me. The school I work at is very interested in purchasing
them. SO I'll be in touch. By the way, one of the songs Koko sings to
the children is as follows: ( Sung to Fred Penner's 'Poko' tune )
"I have a little friend
Her name is Koko
A furry little friend
Purple and pink
KOKO (Koko)
Koko and me. |

GIGGLES
POPULATION EXPLODES IN FRASER LAKE
It's only
been a few
short months since I brought Bluebell home... and look at us
now!
Our Daycare after school program has exploded with love and Giggles.
The first two pictures are new Giggles being introduced to the
group. The last picture is of my son with his brand new
Giggle,
Raven. Raven was extremely shy (being the only boys and all)
but
has since come out of his shell at home.
We'll be having another gathering and party time at the end of this
week and maybe the whole gang will be there! Unfortunately
there
were 4 giggles (and their humans) missing from this picture. 2
more Giggles are with siblings in the preschool group. More
have
been sent to other community members if my sources are
correct...
Thanks so much for sharing your awesome Giggles with us!

SEASONS
GREETINGS
FROM
LAKES LEARNING CENTER
I live in Fraser Lake BC and ordered 3 of your BEAUTIFUL Giggles!!!
They were introduced to "Bluebell" a heartwarming, wonderful Giggle.
Since Bluebell came to daycare my girls have talked non-stop about your
Giggles, we have perused your site many times and my own excitment has
grown incredibly. So much so that when I placed my order for my girls
Giggles, I ordered one for myself!! I took her out of the box tonight
and my eyes teared up when I saw her. She reminded me of so many
wonderful and simple things that get forgotten in todays busy
world. We spent a while getting to know each other and I see
her
personality starting to shine through. She is going to be
quite a
card, I can already tell!! I am so excited to see my daughters faces on
Christmas morning when they open their very own Giggles. Thank you for
making me smile, the feeling of simple joy, and of course the Giggle.

PLAY
TIME WITH THE BIG KIDS...
"Just wanted to send you a huge thank-you for coming in to Sherwood
House yesterday. The residents loved you and all the puppets and the
whole experience in general. They are still talking about it today!!
Also want to thank-you for the great puppet you donated. We have named
him Everton after the Chef's favorite team in England. Imagine that!" |
GREENWOOD EXTENDED CARE FACILITY -
SALTSPRING ISLAND
My name is Ginette and
I am an Art Therapist. You may
recall that last
Saturday I purchased a tan puppet with brown eyes for the residents,
most of which have dementia. Betty was instantly named Betty for her
beautiful eyes ( you know the song Betty Davis' Eyes). They have all
loved her to pieces.
For your info everyone except those with a very
high level of dementia have reacted very positively to her.... loved
her and smiled brilliantly at her. It was better than I had
anticipated. They held her and kissed her and talked to her and
laughed. Some had to ask if she was real as they were uncertain. The
most sleepy and lethargic ones woke up for the occasion. I will bring
her with me at all the sessions as long as I get a positive response.
She may have to move in you know...
I also took her to an independent living home where I also practice.
The welcome was outstanding there too. As for the staff they came out
of the woodwork to see her. One of the kitchen staff has asked me to
pick one up for her. When I asked her if it was to entertain her grand
children she said "No way, this one is for me!".
Thanks a million, they are fantastic little "entities", keep it up.

LETTER
FROM A MOM WITH AUTISTIC CHILD....
Thank you so much Catherine and Paul! We just received our "giggle"
puppets in the mail and were surprised and delighted at your
generosity. You made our day (and we were having a tough one...). My
daughter is "high-functioning" ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), as I
mentioned to you, and I was already using the puppets tonight to help
her interpret facial gestures (a difficult thing for her). We also have
been asking the "giggle monkeys" (as Morgan calls them) questions, and
she is delighted to tell me whether they are shaking their heads "yes"
or "no" or even "playing shy". We just love them! And so do all my
neighbours who enjoyed a front-yard puppet show this evening. I watched
your video on your website and it is very informative and helped me to
make the puppets "come alive". I can't wait to show Morgan's support
workers how well she responds to them! Again, what lovely people you
are and what a great product. And if anyone is wondering what to get
"the kid who has everything"', I shall suggest that they need a good
"giggle"! Have a delightful summer, ( Comox. )
FROM
PRE-SCHOOL TEACHER....
A short note to say thank you for your creation of this wonderful
puppet. I have been looking for a puppet that would engage and bring
joy to the hearts of my preschoolers. I had purchased your puppet at
the Government Street Market in Victoria at the end of May. The joy and
laugher on the faces of the children was wonderful to behold. "Benny,
the monkey", gets into all sorts of mischief and the children look
forward to his visit. I am amazed how they speak to him directly even
though they know he is a puppet. Benny even came to our end of the year
concert to the delight of the children and parents. Thank you, again
GIGGLES
AT THE
COFFEE SHOP
I brought our new Giggle friend to the coffee shop one morning to show
a grand-mother, and the LAUGHTER and JOY on her face were
wonderful. She finally asked me to put him down, because she
couldn't concentrate on what I was saying since she couldn't take her
eyes off the puppet. She was thrilled that the Giggle would
be at
the auction. |

GIGGLES
GO TO
FRANCE TO TEACH ENGLISH :
I had a wonderful trip . And now I"m at home with a beautiful teacher
!!!! My first experience was driving a typical French car : Une deux
chevaux.
I had my first session with the pupils and my wonderful Aqua puppet!
His name is....... MR GIGGLE !!!! The pupils were so surprised when
they saw him!!! They said the colours were fantastically bright and
attractive! Waowwww!!! They were so curious... that they only spoke
English! As Mr Giggle couldn't speak French, they made efforts to
communicate with him! |

Hello
I am really glad to know that we can get these for our children. Our

about until our 9 year old recently told Santa that what she really
wanted was a black giggles. I finally got more info and thank heavens
